A Message From the President
On behalf of the entire Madoc Agricultural Society, I am honored to welcome you all to the 114th annual Madoc Fall Fair. The fall fair is a cherished time for our community. Along with mining, agriculture is the historical bedrock of our village.
This event gives us the opportunity to learn about and celebrate our heritage. Both forward thinking and steeped in nostalgia; the fair aims to provide the opportunity to reflect upon times gone past and learn about the current developments in agriculture and rural living. Fall at the fair is not only the perfect time to soak in local culture and history but create new memories with friends and family.
The Madoc Fall Fair has something for everyone and is great place for the entire family to spend quality time together. We offer a wide variety of events and experiences including the Truck and Tractor pull, agricultural education seminars, a lively midway as well as numerous livestock and equestrian events.
The 2018 fall fair exemplified the strength of our community. We saw increased numbers of both participants and spectators alike. Thanks to the hard work of many volunteers and generous contributions from sponsors, we saw the return of the midway. With the midway lighting up the surrounding fairgrounds, the festivities had a renewed energy of hope and future prosperity. In 2018 we were fortunate to welcome new young members overflowing with initiative and fresh ideas. Many people put in time and effort to ensure the success of the Madoc Fall Fair.
I would like to express my personal gratitude to all the executives, directors, members, volunteers, exhibitors and sponsors for all of their support. Without their dedication, tireless efforts, and generous donations; this fair would not be what it is today. As the Madoc Agricultural Society moves forward, we are always looking to welcome new members and volunteers. We look forward to seeing you in September.
Please come out and enjoy all that the Madoc Fall Fair has to offer! Our members and volunteers have been working hard to make this fair even better than the last!
Matt Tebworth, President
